Hi, I'm Eshwarya! A writer who once wandered onto a film set and never called pack-up.

Over a span of 8 years, I've written in both full-time and freelance roles for agencies and production houses like Dentsu Webchutney, Sideways, Glitch, Enormous, MRM McCann, Lowe Lintas, and more.

 

Somewhere between writing scripts and standing behind the monitor as an Assistant Director on ads, music videos, and short films, I realised my favourite part of filmmaking is also connecting the dots between an idea and its execution. I love writing-rewriting my drafts, and the crazy chaos between "Action!" and "Cut!"

​​What do I exactly do? I write and develop original concepts, punch up scripts, build ideas out from a one-line briefs, and hold the details together off & on set. Usually more than one of these at a time.

Currently in production: writing feature screenplays, directing short films, and collecting stories that refuse to leave me alone.
